38th VSGA Sectional Team Championship at the Manor Resort

The Manor Resort Golf Club recently hosted the 38TH Annual Virginia State Golf Association’s Sectional Team Championship. The event was the season opener for the Association and marked The Manor Resort Golf Club’s initial state major amateur event. The field of 104 golfers from throughout the state competed for two days with the eight player Richmond South team posting a wire to wire win. The team members included Glenn Mullian, Robert Edwards, John Cuomo, Steve Isaacs, Larry Loving Jr., Scott Campbell, Paras Pandya, and Starell Cox.  

"The Manor Resort provided a fair and strong challenge to some of the best amateurs in the Commonwealth," said VSGA Director of Competitions, Matt Smiley. "With its risk-reward options and the test the layout provides on and around the greens, it was a great host to the event. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and cooperativeness of the entire Manor Resort staff in allowing us to use their facility."
