The Manor House Inn is being fully restored to its original 18th century elegance by a team of expert historic renovation specialists in construction and historic architecture working under the guidance of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. When complete, this beautiful manor house is being planned to be part of both the national and state historic register as an important historic site.
The 1840s Manor House Inn is the iconic centerpiece of The Manor Resort and will offer exclusive guest suites, private meetings rooms, oversized porches and verandas leading to historic gardens, terraces, and event lawn; an idyllic setting for weddings, social and business events.
Inspired by the rural vernacular of the Virginia countryside, The 1840’s Manor House was constructed in 1748 with the stately Victorian portion added in 1897. The Manor House has a long and storied history as the place to gather in the county for business and social events.
The Manor House is visible from practically all locations throughout the estate.
